This week in ELA, students will practice making inferences and finding supporting details in literature. We will practice differentiating between fragments and complete sentences. Our spelling words will focus on short vowels.
This week in math, we will continue with module 1- place value. Students will complete lessons 2-4 which focus on multiplying and diving by 10 with numbers up to millions. Students should practice their math facts each day using flash cards or the Fact Dash game (located under the Online Resources tab). This will be the first week for homework packets. Packets are given on the first day of the week and due on Friday. Students will be expected to complete one math lesson per night to be checked on the next day. Time is given in class to work on the assigned math lesson. No homework is given on the weekend. HELLO!
