Thank you to everyone who purchased a book from my book fair box! They have been added to our classroom library.
If your child is choosing to share Halloween treats with the class, please remember that they should be store bought, individually wrapped and nut (peanut oil especially) free. We have 25 students in our classroom. This week in ELA, we will continue studying theme as well as text features, plural possessive nouns and use context clues to define words. We will continue reading our trimester 1 novel "Frozen Stiff", chapters 10- 16. Students will bring home their book as needed. Our spelling words will focus on suffixes (ly, less, ness, ed, est, ful). In math, we will begin module 3- multiplication and division on Tuesday. This module will be very intense and will not conclude until after winter break. To keep a steady momentum, please practice multiplication facts EVERYDAY using Fact Dash. It is listed under our class' "Online Resources". Thank you for attending fall conferences last week! If you missed your conference, please contact me at your earliest convenience to reschedule. The Book Fair will take place in the auditorium this week Monday through Thursday. Please take a moment to stop by and browse!
