Tuesday & Wednesday: Module 5 Summative Assessment Wednesday- Landmark & Subtopic Choice Draft due for Chicago Neighborhood Project Thursday- Begin Module 6 in Math ELA/Social Studies: Unit: Research. Last week, students learned about the Austin neighborhood. This week, students will learn about the Pilsen and Humboldt Park neighborhoods. Students will continue using the writing block this week to work on their projects and collaborate with peers with the same assigned neighborhood. Math: Complete 1 round of XtraMath each day. Complete 1 lesson of ZEARN each day. Module 5: Fractions (STUDY GUIDE & SUMMATIVE ASSESSMENT). Students will take the summative assessment on Tuesday and Wednesday. Monday- Hybrid Transitions into Full Day Tuesday- Arab American Heritage Assembly via Zoom (Will be shared with students on Google Classroom) ELA: Unit: Poetry. This week, students will analyze acrostic poems and alliteration in poetry. Writing: This week, students will create an acrostic name poem and an alliterated poem.
